The Port Industry Association is the industry association representing companies involved in all port activities throughout New Zealand ports.

Its membership includes virtually all independent stevedoring companies, port companies & container park companies

The organization, previously known as the NZ Stevedoring Employers Association, has a strong
commitment to training, improving safety standards and safe operational processes.

The PIA provides a coordinated approach to sector issues, is one easy point of contact and can
provide effective industry communication to all parties.
